Robert will deliver a talk entitled ‘How representative of diets are starch from dental calculus: an archaeological perspective’ at the Lorentz Centre international workshop ‘Archaeological starch research at 25‘ at Leiden University, Netherlands on the 22nd of August.
This workshop aims to bring together researchers from across the world to share their work on starch analysis methods, stimulate methodological development, develop a comprehensive manual on the best practices of archaeological starch research, and form a scientific professional society for the study of archaeological starch.
