WomenSOFar closing workshop

Robert attended the WomenSOFar closing workshop on the 25–26th November at the Mediterranean House of Human Sciences, Aix-Marseille University, Aix-en-Provence, France organised by Dr. Gwenaëlle Goude.
This event marked the culmination of the WomenSOFar project, which aims to understand how women ate, moved, cared for the young, and participated in the activities essential to the survival of early agropastoral communities (6th–4th millennium BC) in France and the wider Mediterranean.

Robert delivered a talk on the potential of dental calculus to reveal variation in diet according to sex, showing how microremains preserved on teeth can shed light on differences in food consumption between women and men in early agropastoral societies.

Many thanks to Gwen for the invitation and the warm welcome
